Almost everyday, there are new volcanic eruptions around the world.

On July 2, 2016, the Klyuchevskoy Volcano exploded in Kamchatka, while the Popocatepetl volcano ejected ash and gas a few hundred meters above its summit on July 3 and 4, 2016.

The Popocatépetl volcano emitted more than 250 low-intensity exhalations (July 3: 95; July 4: 149). It exploded twice on July 3, while July 4 has already recorded 4 explosions.

The volcano produce a continuous emission of steam and gas that raises hundreds of meters above the summit.

Klyuchevskaya Sopka sends ash and gas a few thousand meters above its crater

On 2 July, the Kluchevskoy in Kamchatka sent a plume of ash and gases between 6 and 8 kilometers above sea level.

The ash cloud is spreading to the south of the volcano. But there are no settlements in the path of the ash plume.

Officials have raised the Code aviation danger to Orange and tourist Organizations have been recommended not to conduct tours in the area of the volcano.

The Klyuchevskaya volcano – altitude: 4750 meters – is the highest active volcano in Eurasia.
