On 30 May – 1 June 2018 the Department of Environmental Science and Environmental Protection held the International Conference for Young Scientists on ‘Regional Issues of Environmental Protection’. The young scientists from Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Georgia, Russia and Moldova sent their materials for publication.

The young scientists from the regions of Ukraine – representatives of the institutions at Odessa, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Kherson, Poltava and Dnipro, as well as scientists from the Republic of Moldova came to participate in the conference with reports and presentation of the research results.

Altogether, during the conference, about 40 speakers presented their own research on various regional environmental issues and took part in their discussion.
