On 20 February 2020, Prof. Dr. Salih Kaya from the Mediterranean University, Ankara, Turkey, visited Odessa State Environmental University to establish international relations.

According to the agenda of the visit, Professor Salih Kaya held talks on scientific and educational cooperation between OSENU and the Mediterranean University of Ankara, had meetings with the university faculty and students, and gave a lecture on ‘Potential effects of foreign investment for the banking and tourism sectors of Ukraine and Turkey.’

For almost two hours, Professor Salih Kaya spoke to the audience in English about the current state of the economy in Ukraine and Turkey, investment in various industries and trade relations, prospects for cooperation between the countries and the main conditions for increasing trade flows.

In addition to professional information, all students had the opportunity to test their command of a foreign language.
