The Final Meeting on the QANTUS project was held on 16 November 2017 at Odessa State Environmental University.

The event was attended by more than 30 representatives of consortium universities and organizations from: the National University ‘Odessa Maritime Academy’, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Institute of Ecology of the Carpathians of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, Lviv National Agrarian University, Uman National University of Horticulture, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland), Association for European Life Sciences Universities (Belgium), University of Pavia (Italy) and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (Vienna, Austria).

The opening of the meeting began with the greetings of OSENU Rector, Prof. Sergiy Stepanenko and reports of the national coordinator, Vice-Rector of the National University ‘Odessa Maritime Academy’, Prof. Vadym Zakharchenko on the implementation of the project of 544524-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-PL-TEMPUS-SMHES by the Ukrainian part of the consortium.

Grant coordinator of the project, Prof. Stefan Ignar (Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland) described the implementation of project management tasks and the related problems.

After brief statements by the representatives of each partner institution on the achievements of the consortium in the course of the QANTUS project, the plan to ensure the sustainability of the project results in the post-project period was discussed and approved.
