On 14-15 June 2018 Odessa State Environmental University was presented at the ‘2018 Silk Road International (Ukraine-China) Cultural Education Forum’, held at the National Aviation University in Kyiv. Oleg V. Shabliy, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations, had the honor to represent OSENU.

Participation of 46 leading higher educational institutions of Ukraine and 11 Chinese universities has created unique opportunities for establishment of business contacts and information exchange.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on signing of the memoranda of cooperation between OSENU and 11 universities of the People’s Republic of China, in particular, Southwest University, Lanzhou University, X’ian Jiaotong University and Chongqing University of Technology.

According to the results of the event, Odessa State Environmental University was awarded a certificate of honor as the special guests of the Forum, and Oleg V. Shabliy – the honorary title of “Education Embassador.”
