On 01 June 2018, Dr Andrzej Rychlik from the Lodz University of Technology, Poland, visited the Faculty of Computer Science at OSENU.

The visit of the distinguished guest became an epigraph to the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference for Young Scientists on ‘Theoretical and Applied Aspects of Information Technology Application in the Field of Natural Sciences’ (6-8 June 2018, OSENU), the organizing committee of which includes Mr. Rychlik.

A well-known scholar spoke on the initiative of launching a programme of teachers’ exchange between the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics at the Lodz University of Technology and the Faculty of Computer Sciences at OSENU. Andrzej Rychlik started such cooperation direction with a lecture on the topic: ‘Strategy for Introduction of 5G Technologies’ for the third year students of the Faculty of Computer Science in the framework of experience exchange in teaching the discipline of Computer Networks.

The students showed interest in the problem-oriented lecture and asked questions to the lecturer actively.

Hopefully, during the next academic year, the teaching staff of the Department of Information Technology will also deliver the courses of professional lectures at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics at the Lodz University of Technology.
