The faculty of OSENU took part in the Progress Meeting and Steering Group Meeting under the Project of 561975-EPP-1-2015-1-FI-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP ‘Adaptive Learning Environment for Competence Development Impact on the Local Weather, Air Quality and Climate on the Economy and Social Life’, which were held on 29-31 May 2017 on the premises of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (TSNUK).

The Mid-Project meeting was attended by the representatives of the University of Helsinki (Finland), Agricultural University – Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Central European University in Skalica (Slovakia), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Odessa State Environmental University, Kherson State Agricultural University, Roshydromet Advanced Training Institute, N.I. Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod and Russian State Hydrometeorological University, with some of the participants participating via Skype.

Svitlana Shytikova and Zhanna Talanova, representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, also took part in the event.

OSENU delegation consisted of Prof. Anatolii Polovyi, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology and Agrometeorological Forecasting; Oleg Shabliy, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations; Volodymyr Andrusenko, Head of the DL Sector of the Department of Foreign Relations. Prof. Sergiy Stepanenko, Rector of OSENU, participated in the meeting via Skype.

Prof. Sergej Zilitinkevych, ECOIMPACT project coordinator from the University of Helsinki, Finland, and Andrii Kravchenko, Head of the International Department of TSNUK, greeted the participants. Over the three days the participants discussed the progress in the Work Packages 2 – 8, implementation of the Quality Assurance Strategy and Plan, as well as the Dissemination Strategy for the project, procurement of the required equipment, and a detailed workplan for the following project period, etc.
